CASE STUDY
PROJECT:
Generation Housing Partners
Westmoreland Station
Dallas, TX

Generation Housing Partners is a Texas-based developer, owner, and asset manager of Class A multifamily communities across the Southwest. As a long-term owner and operator, GHP has developed and managed more than 4,000 units with a capitalization value exceeding $385 million.
Westmoreland Station represents a flagship transit-oriented development aligned with the City of Dallas’s 1,000 Unit Housing Challenge, integrating high-quality design with access to public transit and community amenities.
Situation
In response to the City of Dallas’s housing initiative, Generation Housing Partners developed Westmoreland Station as a model for accessible, transit-oriented urban living.
The grand opening represented more than a ceremonial moment. It was an opportunity to:
• Position the development within the city’s housing strategy
• Engage municipal leaders and housing stakeholders
• Demonstrate design quality alongside affordability
• Establish Westmoreland Station as a benchmark project
PRAXIS was engaged to design and execute a public-facing launch that aligned civic priorities, community engagement, and brand positioning.
Our Approach
PRAXIS served as strategic advisor and event manager, leading the planning and execution of a grand opening designed to reinforce both project and organizational objectives.
Our work included:
Event Strategy & Management
Designed the program, guest experience, and site flow to support stakeholder engagement and media visibility.
Budget & Vendor Stewardship
Led vendor negotiations and resource allocation, delivering a high-quality experience while realizing more than $8,000 in cost savings.
Narrative & Experience Design
Structured the event to highlight the development’s transit access, design features, and community amenities through guided experiences and curated programming.
Stakeholder & Media Coordination
Supported outreach to city officials, community leaders, and media to ensure aligned messaging and broad visibility.
The engagement focused on translating policy goals, development quality, and community impact into a cohesive public moment.
Results
The Westmoreland Station grand opening successfully positioned the development as a model for transit-oriented and attainable urban housing.
Key outcomes included:
- Strong participation from municipal and housing leaders
- Positive media coverage and public recognition
- Increased visibility within regional housing conversations
- Clear communication of affordability and accessibility goals
- Reinforced credibility for Generation Housing Partners
The event strengthened alignment between the project, the City of Dallas, and community stakeholders.

This engagement reflects PRAXIS’s ability to use public milestones as strategic platforms. By aligning civic priorities, development objectives, and community narratives, we supported a launch that advanced both project visibility and long-term positioning.
