CASE STUDY

PROJECT:
Construction
Inclusion
Week -
National Industry-wide Initiative

Organized by six leading national construction management firms, Construction Inclusion Week (CIW) is an industry-wide platform designed to advance inclusion, workforce development, and accountability across the construction sector.
First launched in 2020, the initiative brings together firms, partners, and practitioners through coordinated programming, education, and shared standards. PRAXIS has served as a strategic and operational partner since the initiative’s inception.

Situation
PRAXIS has partnered with Construction Inclusion Week since its early formation, supporting the development and national expansion of the initiative.
From 2020 to today our work focused on establishing the platform’s foundation and scaling its reach. This included:
- Launching the core brand identity, website, and digital presence
- Developing foundational curriculum and educational resources
- Designing industry-specific assessment tools
- Expanding content and engagement infrastructure
By 2025, the initiative faced a significant external shift. Heightened political and regulatory scrutiny surrounding DEI programming required a fundamental re-evaluation of public positioning, compliance, and messaging.
To sustain credibility, relevance, and impact, CIW needed to realign its public focus toward Workforce Development while preserving its core mission and values.
This transition required a comprehensive redesign of strategy, structure, and systems.
Our Approach
PRAXIS led the strategic realignment and served as end-to-end advisor and execution partner throughout the transition.
