CASE STUDY

PROJECT:

Community Developers Roundtable

Fort Worth

Building on the success of its Dallas pilot, Innovan Neighborhoods expanded the Community Developers Roundtable to Fort Worth to strengthen access, education, and peer networks for emerging developers. The expansion required more than replication. It demanded localized strategy, coordinated stakeholder engagement, and operational infrastructure capable of supporting a high-trust, high-accountability program.

PRAXIS partnered with Innovan to design and execute the Fort Worth launch, providing strategic leadership across positioning, communications, systems, and program delivery.

Situation

Following strong outcomes in Dallas, Innovan sought to extend the Roundtable’s reach to Fort Worth in response to growing regional demand. While the curriculum and model were proven, the new market presented distinct operational and relational challenges.

The expansion required:

  • Market-specific messaging and outreach
  • Local partner alignment
  • Transparent and secure applicant screening
  • Scalable communications systems
  • Credible public-facing launch programming

Because the program engaged financial institutions, civic partners, and emerging developers simultaneously, the rollout needed to balance accessibility, rigor, and trust.

Our Approach

PRAXIS worked alongside Innovan to architect and manage the Fort Worth launch as an integrated engagement spanning strategy, communications, operations, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Developed run-of-show, staffing plans, credentials, signage, and AV
  • Facilitated structured networking between developers, lenders, and civic leaders
  • Managed partner and stakeholder registration, confirmations, and attendance workflows
  • Managed post-event follow-up to convert engagement into applications

Digital & Application Infrastructure

  • Built dedicated Fort Worth landing content with clear pathways to participation
  • Conducted accessibility and mobile optimization review
  • Designed a secure, role-based application portal with automated workflows

Review & Governance Systems

  • Implemented encrypted document intake and private reviewer access
  • Established standardized financial review protocols
  • Created transparent status tracking and interview scheduling processes

Program & Promotional Materials

  • Developed market-specific collateral aligned with Innovan’s brand standards
  • Supported consistent messaging across public, partner, and participant channels

Throughout the engagement, PRAXIS served as both strategic advisor and operational lead, ensuring alignment between vision, systems, and execution.

What We Built:

Rather than simply launching an event or campaign, PRAXIS helped Innovan establish a durable expansion framework, including:

  • A replicable market-entry model
  • Secure and transparent applicant review infrastructure
  • Coordinated communications systems
  • Stakeholder engagement protocols
  • Program management workflows

Together, these elements created a foundation for sustained program delivery and future regional growth.

This engagement reflects how PRAXIS supports complex initiatives in practice. We combined close listening, disciplined planning, and hands-on execution to build systems that earned trust, supported access, and positioned the program for long-term success.
