For more than three decades, DCH, Inc. has delivered affordable housing across Dallas. The Armonia Apartments development marked its first new construction project in over a decade and represented a strategic opportunity to reintroduce the organization to partners, funders, and the community.

PRAXIS was engaged to design and execute a groundbreaking event that would serve as both a ceremonial milestone and a brand repositioning moment.

Situation

DCH prepared to launch Armonia Apartments at a time of organizational transition and renewed public engagement. The groundbreaking needed to accomplish multiple objectives simultaneously:

• Introduce DCH’s updated brand and direction
• Reestablish visibility with civic and funding partners
• Honor the legacy of the La Bajada neighborhood
• Support the launch of the organization’s North Texas Giving Day campaign
• Demonstrate operational credibility and leadership

With limited time and high stakeholder expectations, the event carried reputational and relational risk.

Solution

With a four-week timeline, PRAXIS served as strategic advisor and event manager, leading the design and execution of an integrated engagement experience.

Our work included:

• Developing the event narrative and messaging framework
• Coordinating with development partners and public officials
• Managing vendors, production, and logistics
• Designing collateral and promotional materials
• Overseeing on-site execution and guest experience

Every element was designed to reinforce DCH’s mission, credibility, and future direction.
